A note before you read
We want to be completely upfront with you about how WarmPicks works and how we keep the lights on. This page explains everything clearly so you always know where we stand.
Our relationship with Amazon’s affiliate program
WarmPicks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This is an affiliate advertising program that allows websites like ours to earn a small fee by linking to products listed on Amazon.com.
Here is how it works in plain terms:
When you click a product link on any WarmPicks article and then make a purchase on Amazon, we earn a small commission. The price you pay stays exactly the same. You are not charged anything extra. The commission comes from Amazon’s end, not from your pocket.
As required by Amazon’s program guidelines, we include this statement across our site: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Does this affect our reviews/ratings?
No, not even slightly!
The commissions we earn have zero influence on which products we recommend or how we review them. Our editorial team evaluates every product based on real world performance, verified buyer feedback, value for money, and long term reliability. Those are the only factors that determine our picks.
- If a product is overpriced for what it offers, we say so.
- If a budget model outperforms an expensive one in actual use, we say that too.
- If a product has a known flaw that buyers frequently complain about, you will find it clearly mentioned in our review.
We never recommend something just because it earns a higher commission. That would defeat the entire purpose of what we are building here.
What about other links?
Most of our product links go to Amazon. Occasionally we may link to other websites for reference or additional information. We are not responsible for the content, pricing, or privacy practices of those external sites. We recommend reading their terms before making any purchase or submitting personal information.
FTC compliance
The Federal Trade Commission requires websites to clearly disclose when they have a financial relationship with companies whose products they recommend. We fully support this requirement because we believe you deserve to know this part.
You will find an affiliate disclosure notice at the bottom of every article on WarmPicks that contains affiliate links. This page serves as our full and detailed disclosure in accordance with FTC guidelines.
Why we are telling you all this
Trust is the most important thing we can earn from our readers. If you do not trust that our recommendations are honest, nothing else we do matters.
We would rather lose a sale than recommend something we do not genuinely believe in. Every person on the WarmPicks team operates with that principle in mind. The affiliate program helps us keep the site running and producing free content for everyone. But it never comes before giving you an honest answer.
